Prevea Health has Extended Agreement with
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Prevea Health, St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center and St. Vincent Hospital are pleased to announce that we have extended and expanded our partnership with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield  through 2010. 

Extending the agreement guarantees that Prevea patients insured by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield will have continued in-network access to their Prevea providers on a long-term basis.

The expanded agreement will also give patients who are insured by Anthem's Blue Preferred Primary POS and HMO plans in-network access to Prevea Health beginning on January 1, 2008.*

To assist patients in joining the Prevea family, Prevea has established a dedicated new patient phone line. *Because the new agreement is not effective until January 1, 2008, Prevea may not appear on the Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Web site as in-network for the Point of Service Network products until after this date.
