From contraception to fertility to menopausal changes, Prevea Health knows that a woman's health care needs change over time, and we continually work to provide you with cutting-edge health care services paired with the highest quality customer service.

A Lifetime of Extraordinary Women's Care.

Here are just a few of the new Prevea services available:

Essure® is a safe and effective breakthrough in permanent birth control that does not require any of the incisions, punctures or hospitalization required in tubal ligations and vasectomies. In fact, 92 percent of patients are able to return to work in one day or less and 100 percent of our patients who have had this procedure done said they would recommend it to a friend. The Essure procedure is not affiliated with Prevea's hospital partners.

NovaSure®, a new minimally invasive FDA-approved procedure, permanently reduces or eliminates excessive menstrual bleeding through an outpatient or office-based procedure that avoids the complications and costs of traditional drug and surgical therapies.

TVT or TOT are minimally invasive outpatient procedures designed to help women who experience minor incontinence when they exercise, dance, cough or sneeze.  Both of these procedures meet and/or exceed the success rates of the older surgeries while minimizing complications and recovery times.

Stereotactic Breast Biopsy is a minimally invasive procedure where a computer uses special X-ray images to precisely pinpoint an area of abnormal breast tissue previously discovered through a mammogram or breast ultrasound. A breast tissue sample is removed with a hollow needle and sent to a pathologist for examination.

Digital Mammography is a mammography procedure where images of the breast are captured using digital technology instead of traditional X-ray film. Since there is no film to develop, the electronic images are immediately displayed on a computer screen. Benefits of using digital mammography include:

  • Better visualization of breast tissue
  • Earlier breast cancer detection
  • Shorter exam times
  • Less radiation to patients
